Shipping and delivery

Last updated: 8 October 2026

We deliver throughout South Africa. Standard tracked delivery is free when the order value is R750 or more. A flat R250 charge applies below that amount.

Express delivery

The basket offers an express upgrade at R250. Express is a paid upgrade, so it is charged on every order that selects it, including orders above the free-delivery threshold. Choose it under Delivery options on the cart page before paying.

Handling and transit

Orders are picked and packed within 24 to 48 hours of the payment clearing. Transit within South Africa then typically takes 5 to 7 days. Any product-specific lead time is shown on the product page or confirmed after the order. Delivery dates are estimates unless we agree a binding date in writing.

For logistical reasons, items in the same order may travel in separate parcels.

Customs and import charges

Some orders are sent directly from our facility in Thailand by DHL Express, which takes about 7 days. When that happens, customs in South Africa may charge import taxes, duties or a clearance fee when the parcel arrives.

These charges are not part of the price or the delivery cost you pay us, and we do not set them. They are paid by the person receiving the parcel, usually to DHL before delivery. We also show this note in your cart before you pay.

If DHL contacts you about a charge and you are not sure it is genuine, email us at theteam@mylawn.co.za and we will check it with you.

Tracking

A tracking link is emailed to the address used at checkout once the parcel is collected. Tracking numbers only exist after an order has been processed and handed over, so they are not available immediately after ordering. See Track your parcel for what to do when a link is missing or has stopped updating.

Address accuracy

Check the recipient name, address and postal code before paying. Contact us immediately if a correction is needed; a change may not be possible after dispatch.

Damage or non-delivery

Keep the packaging and contact us with the order number and photographs if an item arrives damaged. If tracking has stopped or the parcel is overdue, contact support so the delivery can be investigated. Faulty, damaged or missing goods are covered by the Refunds and Returns page.

Please have this shipping policy reviewed by a qualified South African consumer-law adviser before launch.
